It derives its pretext and rationale from a set of\u00a0(ostensibly disparate) commemorative opportunities afforded by the year\u00a02017, including:<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px; text-align: justify;\">\u00b7 the fifth centenary of Martin Luther&#8217;s Ninety-five Theses (1517);<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px; text-align: justify;\">\u00b7 the centenary of the October Revolution (1917);<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px; text-align: justify;\">\u00b7 the centenary of the US decision to enter the Great War (1917).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Suggested topics<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;
