The subject Legal-Administrative Translation: English \u2013 Galician \u2013 English \/ English \u2013 Spanish \u2013 English is included in module B2, is an optional subject that accounts for 6 ECTS and takes place during the 2nd semester. It is taught in Spanish, Galician, and English.<\/p>\n

It is designed for students to acquire a certain amount of competence to prepare, understand and translate complex legal and administrative texts. However, it must be pointed out that these competences will be limited, since complete competence can only be acquired through a wide number of hours of practice and only on the fields one knows best. Therefore, the aim of this subject is to provide students with the necessary means to work with texts within this field with confidence.<\/p>\n

On a theoretical level, it aims to strengthen students\u2019 knowledge of national and international law; and on a practical level, the aim is that students translate texts of considerable length and complexity, as well as that they write academic studies on this topic.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
