Export / Import Translation Strategies

This subject will train students on the complexities of foreign trade and the vital functions of the export/import department. Key documents will be explored, highlighting the importance of accuracy and linguistic consistency to avoid misunderstandings in international transactions. Students will learn how to translate trade-specific terms, as well as how to adapt to the regulations and business practices of different countries.

In addition, we will address cultural and legal particularities that influence the translation of texts related to international trade. Emphasis will be given to the need to understand the responsibilities of the export/import department, including contract negotiation, customs management, and logistics. This subject will provide linguistic tools and expertise for translators to contribute to the success of global business operations.
